One thing that isn't clear to me in the various accounts is if he was taking blood pressure medication. It said that he had high blood pressure and advanced heart disease from it. Did blood pressure medication play a part in this or maybe the lack of taking blood pressure medication?
Arizona must have floated higher than 50-1, there must be some books that have them at 100-1 or 200-1. It wasn't that long ago that Jay Kornegay would have given you 1000-1 on something like that at the Imperial Palace!
I don't understand the title to this story. If someone is shot is it worded "man dies in collision with bullet?"
The headline should be Cop speeding to a crime kills innocent pedestrian. I am sure he didn't mean to but he did. The way this is worded makes it sound like the pedestrian got a running start and ran into a parked car.
Anyways, my thoughts and prayers are with the family, what a terrible and sad thing for them to go through.
Stations/Dennys just lost their highest profile client, OJ. Maybe they can deliver to the big house.
How is it possible that this guy hurts so many people and yet does not have to do any time? Please tell me that it just wasn't mentioned in this story. Cortez Mastro, I wouldn't exactly consider this a successful prosecution, this guy is a scam artist. That is not an opinion, it is a fact. They way he ran his internet company, this mortgage scam, his history of manufacturing crystal meth, his old days of running scam raffles in NY state. HOW COULD THIS GUY BE FREE TO FIND ANOTHER WAY TO HURT THE PUBLIC?

It seems to me that Harrah's didn't pay attention to the Casino Creed: You can shear a sheep many times, but you can only skin it once.
This guy was a big bloated fat whale in sheep's clothing. A lamb for the continual slaughter. He was free money. Work with him, give him some time. He will give it all to you over the years.
Harrah's played this hand like a rookie at a poker final table. They deserve to lose this one.
