According to a NPR report she got over 1000.00 (20X the national mean) per person in dole from the federal government while mayor of her small town. She was first for the bridge near Ketchikan then opposed it but kept the funding and started building the access road with federal money. She has retained a lawyer to assist her in deflecting a state ethics investigation. Who dare say she isn’t ready to play ball in Washington DC?
Ah, but nothing screams Republican family values like an old fashion shotgun wedding (shotgun compliments of the NRA). Abstinence only education in schools? Now way, leave sex education the sole responsibility of the (God fearing, rightwing) parents. When a political party brands itself as being the righteous party of God then really my statement isn’t just a pop culture pot shot, it’s fair criticism.
Republican Deflection Game rules:
1)Blame Clinton score 10 points.
2)Blame Clinton and mention 9/11 in same passage score 100 points.
In 5 words I can sum up why she will do her job: Supreme Court Justice Hillary Clinton.
Typical Republican response: Blame Clinton.
Rove Speak: Radical = Scary black man.
Elitist = Uppity.
I applaud the effort. My antidotical observation is that far too many southern Nevada motorists could give a sh_ _ about school zones, residential street speed limits and the like. Hey, lets also go after the trophy wives who insist on parking their Hummer in a handicapped spot as the drop off little Brooklyn at preschool while on their way to Pollutes class. At 200.00 a ticket, sounds like easy revenue.
Glorifying and romanticizing thugs, cheats, murders and lawlessness. Can’t wait until my son’s elementary school class takes a field trip there. Seriously, what this country really needs is a drug cartel and smugglers museum. Maybe locate it in Miami?
Buy most accounts there is no untapped fields that would come close to the production levels in the middle east and Russia. It's spit in the ocean fellows. The perceived decrease in demand is the market force at work here (something you market justice disciples surely get). It's not the idle threat of new drilling. ksand is correct, less fule use = lower fule costs.
10% of a historically low turnout? What, is like 5 votes???

Small City? Elko is a small city. 8000 people living in the same place is a village. I was president of my HOA, we had a budget there were 1000 homes, am I suited to be VP?
