Man, 18, arrested for DUI in crash that kills woman, 24

An 18-year-old Las Vegas man was arrested in connection with driving under the influence this morning after a crash that left a 24-year-old woman dead. Metro Police responded at 1:13 a.m. to the crash at the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard and Flamingo Road.

North Las Vegas Police arrested two more teenagers Sunday in the death of a Metro Police officer killed last week at his North Las Vegas home. Quadrae Scott and Emmitt Ferguson, both 18, of North Las Vegas, were booked into the North Las Vegas Detention Center at about 8:15 p.m. Sunday. North Las Vegas Police on Sunday evening also announced that investigators believe they have recovered the gun used to fatally shoot Officer Trevor Nettleton early Thursday morning at his home.
