2008: Redshirted season.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of Del Oro HS ... Ranked as the No. 111 OG recruit in the nation by Scout ... A two-year letterwinner for the Golden Eagles under coach Casey Taylor ... A PrepStar West Coast All-Region honoree ... Helped Del Oro to a 12-2 record and an appearance in the section championship game in 2007 ... Team went 10-2 and advanced to the second round of the playoffs during his junior season ... Named the Sierra Foothill League Lineman of the Year on his way to first team All-Foothill, All-Metro and All-Norcal honors ... Played in the KCRA 3 Holiday Classic All-Star game as a member of the North ... Added 30 tackles as a senior while playing along the defensive line.
