LETTER TO THE EDITOR:
Obama needs to get tough in debates
Mon, Sep 29, 2008 (2:03 a.m.)
Although I continue to support Barack Obama, I am afraid he lost the first presidential debate because of a common trait of Democrats — they believe the best of everyone.
Surely a presidential candidate wouldn’t rudely interrupt and out-shout you in a formal debate setting on national television, would he? John McCain did just that, and came off more like a Fox talk show host than a dignified senator.
Obama should have also been quick to confront references from McCain such as “naive, he just doesn’t get it, and Senator Obama just doesn’t understand.”
Finally, because there were lots of split-screen shots, when McCain was making things up or misrepresenting Obama’s positions, Obama should have been blatantly mouthing the words “not true!”

I think the reason hussein did'nt bring his "A" game is because michelle attempted to fist bump him before he went on stage and punched him square in the nuts when he was bending over to pick up his flashcards
Actually the public has clearly declared Senator Obama the winner and I am delighted that McCain's low road tactics are, apparently, not working.
