Now is the time for Hillary and Barrack to join forces and apply the coup de grace and coup d'etat to Bushco and Sycophants Limited (in intelligence anyway). We will have a Democratic landslide in November with a Clinton/Obama ticket. That will be a total win-win situation. I will rest contented knowing that there will not be another Rethug as President during my lifetime.
Who are we kidding? The Hillary bid is just a front for a third term for Bill Clinton. Remember he wanted to change the constitution to allow for a third term. Legally he can be her VP. So who is to say she would not do that? And if she resigns he can legally become our President for a third term. The way Bill has been campaigning this shows, he wants back in the White House for Bill. Vote for change people. I am going with Obama.
If Obama is all about change, why is he courting the establishment endorsements? He got John Kerry's endorsement. He wants Edwards' endorsement - who voted for the war. He got Ted Kennedy's endorsement - how much more 'Washington Politics' do you need to realize he is not about change any more than Bush was about compassionate conservatism? He's missed more than half of his Senate votes - I don't consider that change.
Katy,
Another eight years of President Clinton (Mrs. or Mr.) would be a world of improvement over the illegal reign of King George the Dumb and the Right-Wing Nuts.
Actually, Clinton can not run for Vice President - he can not run for any position that would put him in line for presidency should anything happen to the President.
"In addition, the Twelfth Amendment to the United States Constitution states that "no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States." This applies to the above criteria and to the removal of eligibility afforded by the Presidential term limits defined in the Twenty-second Amendment to the United States Constitution. In other words, if one cannot be elected President, one cannot be elected Vice President. No President who has served for two terms (or one term and more than two years of a second), can be elected Vice President."
