Three months after its state convention abruptly ended without a vote on them, the Nevada Republican Party has selected delegates to the national convention, according to the Associated Press. The state party's 12-member executive board on Friday night appointed 34 delegates and 31 alternates to the Sept. 1-4 national convention in St. Paul, Minn. Zachary Moyle, executive director of the Nevada GOP, said delegates' names would be released after they are contacted over the next week.

"Appoint?" "Selected?" Don't you mean "Anoint" and "Dictated?" The unholy monarchy of the Nevada Republican Party royal elitists continues to prevail and make a mockery of our democracy- how sad, Sad, SAD!
I would expect nothing less than an unfair, undemocratic selection of delegates to represent Nevada republicans.
Ron Paul supports must not let them get away with their smoke-filled room selection process.
Just as this nation has devolved, the Nevada Republican Party has reduced itself to a plutocracy. They think that their well meaning membership exists merely to affirm their will. If not, they'll do whatever they want anyway.
These supposed 'leaders' are NOT true Americans, unless fascism is now the new American way. As one registered Republican - and I believe an increasing number of my kind feel as I do - I am sick and tired of it, and will NOT take it any more.
I guess the Ron Paul supporters do not care that the more than 50% of the Republicans in Nevada Caucused for Mr. Romney. So these "true Americans" are taking away the voters will.
How does the percentage of caucus votes received by any candidate have anything to do with the GOP hierarchy subverting the state convention, an assembly subject to the will of the duly elected delegates in attendance?
