What do you call someone who’s not a thief, but still manages to steal something? You would call that person Kyle Busch.
Kyle’s success this year has effectively stolen the spotlight from Dale Earnhardt Jr. If Kyle weren’t having such a storybook season, the attention of the fans and the media would be focused on the great season Dale Jr. is having.
After 19 races, Dale has seven finishes in the top five and 12 finishes in the top 10. Those statistics are the same as his entire 2007 season. Dale is also second in the points standings and has one visit to victory lane under his belt this year. So by any standard he’s having a great season. Throw into the equation that he’s racing for a new organization, and his performance is more impressive.
Kyle is getting all the attention now, but Dale’s bid for the championship isn’t over yet.

Anyway, I'm just wondering if Chevy, is going to be able to give HMS all the resources they need, given their money troubles lately, to be competitive with the Toys, who seem to have an unlimited amount of funds.
Good point about the available money, Crazy20fan, and perhaps I should have said, "and Dale will have an opportunity to maybe win more races." That said, we do know who will be supplying Tony with engines next year, don't we! Are you gonna have to change your Sun username??
Hopefully HMS will stop whining long enough to actually get some work done on their own engine program and will be able to give the Toys a run for their money next year.
Yes , I will eventually have to change my user name, but I've been using this name on several different blogs and forums for a long time and it will be kind of sad having to give it up and come up with a new name to use. Any ideas? lol
