Gee, who knew, and what are the odds of another crime story coming from the "Family First" and "Family Values" Republican political party?
Oh, wait, we're talking about the lying, cheating, thieving Republicans AGAIN!
I know and respect Francis Allen. I am a diehard democrat and resent the attack on Francis made by Mr. J.A. and his opinion and use of the abusive words lying, cheating and thieving and the Sun's poor judgement in allowing such language and opinions to be promoted by their staff.

Dear "HDK" I do not know Francis Allen personally, and my critical commentary is directed at her choice of political party affiliation - not her personally.
Please accept my sincere public apology for any misunderstanding...
...but, I shall not apologize for calling the Republican party as I see it! The vast majority of Republican leaders are lying, cheating, thieving cowards and traitors that have nearly destroyed our beloved America!
As far as I'm concerned, the American Grand Old Party of the Republicans has run it's course in American history and needs to go the way of the Nazis and Third Reich - it should be disolved into the depth of history, and the current leadership should be tried for war crimes!
But, then, I come from the military, military families and veterans community that has seen over 4,000 of our best and brightest (and over 6,000 suicides) that were unnecessary and could have been avoided - and I'm passionate about justice!
The truth of the matter is corruption is the cancer in both major political parties - with about 95% of Republicans and about 75% of the Democrats serving only themselves, their wealthy donors and lobbyists - not their constituents or the American people!
To DonnaKatich, You have an awfull lot of nerve calling down someone because they post an opinion. As a life long democrat I find the Republican's and there hypocrite positions and lifestyles offensive myself.
And your 'girlie' Francis Allen is no different. She should have been charged(and jailed )under the bad check law for the stunt she pulled with the florist for her wedding, not to mention the intimidation and cocoercion she did to the florist while using her position of authority.
If she had a legitimate complaint she should have taken it to court like the rest of the 'unconnected ' people.
Francis Allen has done nothing to deserve anyones respect regarding anything. Francis Allen has been looking for a jail cell and soon may find it.
You should be reminded you are not the 'post cop' and keep your opinions to yourself regarding other peoples rights to express themselves.Kepp up the good work JA.
When the republicans replaced the supreme court justices, and attorney generals with like minded people or people that support thier party then the simlarities to how the Nazis took power from there people are too great for us to Ignor!
Dont be dooped by any party that says they are pro life and against abortion they've had control of the house and senate and the oval office for six years and they havent put and end to it but they continue to kill adults in wars,
Go figure they want to preserve life until life can carry a weapon. for the cause.

I guess with ol'DonnaKatich stabbing your spouse is acceptable behavior. I wonder what else she tolerates,supports and endorses? Francis Allen is a joke and the ending chapters to her political career are in print now, just as many other tell em' how to live politicians. Possibly Lynette Boggs McDonald can give her a few tips on the criminal justice system. If available her supporter DonnaKatich can accompany her to the many hearings that will take place.
Have any of you folks ever heard of Lance Malone, Dario Herrera, Erin Kenny, or Mary Kincaid-Chauncey? Or maybe this will jog your memory, G-STING! Every person named above is now serving time in Federal Prison. I won't embarrass you fine Democrates by identifing there political party. Can you guess?

To answer your question, Yes-those dems are just money grubbers. At least they won't stab you in the arm for being a perceived embarassment or stiff the florist. I'm wondering if her spouse can obtain an annulment or if he's gonna stand by bridezilla.
By my recollection, even the pathetic Teddy "splash" Kennedy was accused by his first wife of domestic violence. KARMA came calling on him just recently.

It was Ronald Reagan that opened up the borders for the cheap labor from our friends from the south. Labor our economy very much needed by the way.
And for your information both San Diego and Las Vegas were in Mexico a short time ago so our friends just may be coming back to claim what is rightfully theirs.

Larry King asked RFK, Jr. about what the American people need to do to fix things in politics? RFK, Jr. candidly replied "They need to recognize that 95% of the Republican Party and 75% of the Democratic Party are corrupt!"
That's the pathetic reality - we need to clean up our own houses - focus on ethics, transparency and lots and lots of sunshine - and stop nit picking one another with purely partisan points!
To do that we all have to first make a complete paradigm shift in our thinking and get beyond the archaic labels of the past century. I don't know anyone that is conservative, moderate or liberal anymore - we are a combination of all three depending on the issue!

And a hypocrite is a HYPOCRITE! So, let's all work together to VATBO (Vote All The Bums Out)! I can tell you that the people of the Democratic Party are seriously focusing on cleaning our house - it's past time the Republicans do the same!
First of all, people need to be careful insulting someone publicly and need to know all of the TRUE facts before judging someone. I am not a Republican, but I happen to know Francis and I know for a fact that the only thing Francis Allen is guilty of is bad judgment for a husband. She didn't "stab" her new husband. He threw a hissy because she wouldn't bow down to him and b/c she so called "embarrased" him in front of friends. He cut himself (whether by accident or not, I do not know) and freaked out and because she didn't call 911, he told the hospital that she stabbed him. But, when he found out that his little lie would get her arrested, he tried to change his tune, but the damage had already been done. Francis is a very honest and kind person. Probably one of the last honest and upfront politicians around today. She not only donates her time and money to countless organizations, but she recently cut all of her hair off and donated it to Locks of Love. But of course, this doesn't make for useful or entertaining news. Instead, people would rather bash someones integrity just to gain a few lines in the news. So she is a Republican! So what?!? Just b/c the old GW is a Republican doesn't mean that all Republicans are bad. Yes, "A diamond is a diamond", and "A club is a club", but just because some diamonds have flaws, does that mean that we are to discard and stop buying all diamonds? Furthermore, people need to look in the mirror before placing judgement on others and not believe something just because it is in the media. Stop and think for a minute how many times someone has said something to or about you to others. Was it all true? How did it make you feel? Yes, she is in the public eye, but that doesn't give anyone the right to bash her.

Oh by the way, the situation with the florist was blown way out of proportion, too. The florist overcharged her for her flowers. People tried to say that Francis was taking advantage, but the florist was the one taking advantage. Not only did she get some of the colors wrong, but some of the flowers were wilted, some fell down before the ceremony (and was not replaced by the florist), and the florist didn't even get finished with the flowers until after she got to the reception site. She was still putting the flowers together in her van. She cut some ribbon and left it on the table for the wedding planner to put on the other tables even though it was the florist's job to set up all of the tables as needed. Not only did the florist not set up any of the tables but charged Francis for setting them up. I know this, because I was there! Did anyone even stop to think that maybe the florist was in the wrong? Francis stopped payment on the final check because the florist did not do her job. Francis offered her a payment for the job done and waited for a response but didn't get one until later. The florist was in breach of contract for not completing all of the things on the contract. Francis could've sued the florist if she wanted but that is NOT how she is. She was trying to work out a deal and at least pay for what the florist did complete. People need to check the facts and concentrate on the more serious problems that Vegas is encountering! Francis Allen is a honest, bright, and up front woman who deserves nothing but respect. I wish that more politicians were as honest as she is!
