Two pimps sentenced in Las Vegas

(via Star Tribune) · April 28, 2008 · 9:50 PM

Two Minnesotan men who were accused of recruiting other Minnesotans into prostitution in Nevada were sentenced in a U.S. District courtroom Monday, April 28.

According to the Star Tribune article, both of the men's sentences, which combined come in at under four years, were lax.

Both men expressed remorse as they received their sentences, admitting that their actions were wrong and unfair to the people they have left behind.

  1. Four years should have been 40, scum of the earth!! On the other hand, NV condones or allows Brothels to steal away 50% of a girls earnings working there. There needs to be laws against a prostitute in a brothel having to give away half of the earnings, it's the state wide system that hurts the girls. Only so many brothels are allowed in an area, thus, the owners can pretty much treat the workers like slaves. To me, the state turns their heads on something that is just as bad as a street pimp.
