Kucinich will sit it out

This just in from the state Supreme Court: NBC/MSNBC win, Kucinich loses. The congressman from Ohio won’t be on stage at the televised debate in 45 minutes.

He argued that the network offered, and then withdrew, an offer that he participate in the debate, and he protested. The court disagreed.

We’re waiting now to hear the reason for the ruling. Stay tuned.

  1. This is travesty.

    Why are they doing this?

  2. this is wrong

Kucinich should be in the debate

  3. Horrible news... I will no longer be watching.

  4. Will this wake anyone up from the delusion that we live in a democracy rather than under corporate rule. This same scenario plays out every election cycle in the general election as well, when the two corporate parties conspire to preclude any competition to their duopoly: http://reclaimdemocracy.org/political_re...

Regardless of whether you care about Kucinich or any other candidate, we cannot allow corporations to control the essential democratic processes. It's time to raise hell.

  5. NBC/MSNBC will no longer have my viewership and I will call their sponsors/advertisers in protest of excluding Kucinich. I will be calling my satalite provider to cancel my plan and downgrade to the basic plan after getting advertiser info. Those greedy b...
We all know this is because their megawealthy bottom line will be affected with an anti-war president and one who would cancel NAFTA. Everyone should vote for Kucinich to stop the mainstream media from determining who becomes our president. I wish everyone who was planning on voting for Hillary, Obama and Edwards would switch to Kucinich, they would know he is best anyway if they read his voting record!

  6. This is bad news for Nevada voters and for everyone in the U.S. Our candidates are being hand selected by the media conglomerates with these so-called debates. I invite anyone who has not already done so to submit a question to MSNBC to be asked of the remaining candidates. Since it will be the same three candidates as were in the last media-sponsored debate I do not anticipate much real "debate" but perhaps a good question or two will be asked.

  7. About time common sense prevails. Kucinich is a joke and, like Ron Paul, has no credible place in the campaign at this point. Next, Nevada's courts need to throw out the culinary caucus locations.
