There are other more serious issues that need to be dealt with in Las Vegas. The seedy world of sex for sell will never go away. They only hurt themselves. I believe the police should focus on other crimes such as the state of the children in Las Vegas. Focus on domestic abuse and rape. If Metro cracks down on gang activity then Las Vegas will be much safer. Pimps will always sell women as long as women are for sale.
The Reader Poll itself is a symptom of the problem. The issue is not with the men you are labeling "pimp" (a label which elevates the status of these men), nor is it with the women who are trying to make a living, nor with the johns. This will be a lot to grasp, but the issue lies within a disturbed manner of sexual expression and value placed on interpersonal relations and human sexuality. Until these areas are addressed, the fractured state of sex and relationships will continue. Arrests and sentencing will have no effect.
