The governor took a no-new-taxes approach in his budget. Do you think the state should raise taxes to help solve the shortfall?

Yes. Lawmakers should avoid these proposed cuts. | 58% | 1233 | |

Any chance some of the senators will read this poll and realize that not all voters are knee-jerk selfish ppl who are desparate to avoid paying their share?
I'm a knee-jerk selfish ppl, and am desparate to avoid paying my share to a bunch of high flying spenders. I really don't agree with Gibbon's pay cut proposal entirely, but I guarantee there is significant fat in the budget regardless of the mindless rantings of Mr. Rogers, and Ms. Buckley.
I think Gibbons is proof that that Nevada can run pretty well without any governor. Why don't we just eliminate him and his staff?
And by eliminate I mean terminate...uh...send them home...oh ya, fire them! Geez! You have to be so careful about what you say in Vegas!
