It's appalling to think the county commissions would oppose wind turbines on mountaintops (or anywhere for that matter). Wind and solar must be a part of the energy mix. Every little bit helps, including checking your tire pressure.
kgolding obviously doesn't live in Lincoln County. It's appalling that people just decide the region they don't ever go to is a suitable sacrifice zone for their own energy waste.
It is always someone's backyard and trying to ignore those people is classic George Bush style politics.
I hope kgolding is willing to sacrifice his/her personal backyard for a big solar panel or wind mill. All for the greater good. Get rid of that vegetable garden!
