Alan Keyes on Abortion

With respect to the Declaration of Independence, Keyes asserts that abortion is not only wrong, but incompatible with America's foundation. According to Keyes, the Declaration gives every human unalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness but that the Declaration gives no such power to humans to decide who is human and who is not human. Not only would Keyes seek to overturn the ruling of Roe v. Wade, he would put into place a human life amendment that would return America's view of life back to the intended view as stated in the Declaration of Independence.

YouTube Video: Keyes discusses his pro-life views with respect to abortion and stem cell research in two different forums in 2004.

YouTube Video: In a 2004 debate against Barack Obama in a U.S. Senate race in Illinois, Keyes addresses his pro-life and pro-death penalty views.
