Las Vegas Sun sports reporters Ray Brewer and Case Keefer disagree on the Liberty vs. Las Vegas matchup for the same reasons as last year. They come to a consensus on the rest of the games, but also break down the matchups.

great podcast guys you really do great work. As for the pick i agree with brewer on the vbaegas pick, i agree liberty thinks they got this game in the bag and are going to get beat. Great $5 dollar bet vegas plus 14 haha to easy. it doesnt really matter who wins the rest of the games, noone will beat gorman. I cant wait till next year realignment, this will make the state so much more competitive. This year could be gormans last chance to dominate so they better make it a good one. good luck to all the teams.
Moapa over Sho Low, Moapa over Del Sol* and Canyon over Vegas* are upsets that come to mind....*While several of us have been singing from the hilltop that canyon was grossly over rated it was a big win for their program. As over ranked as both Vegas and Canyon are I never though canyon would beat them.
That said Keefer is right on with Liberty. Speed+Force=Power and liberty hits hard and will make everyone on Vegas not named Victor or Henderson want to go home and watch TNL. Liberty wins by brute force by 20+ then moves on to get throttled by Gorman after a good but tune up game against foothill/basic
I got the Diaz/St Pierre reference, speaking of the fistic arts which one of you lucky sobs gets to.work.the Pacquiao fight? Who you taking keefer?
Coronado almost beat Liberty, Ray? Come on Brewer.. that's like the commentator on LVTV saying the only team that held Niko Kapeli under 100 yards was Coronado. Do not misconstrue the actual events. Coronado didnt hold Kapeli to anything. Coach Muraco held him...just until a few minutes into the 4th quarter when he finally put him in with the rest of starters to run the ball and secure the win. Once the game was in hand, he took them back out. Several of the starters got some needed rest in the Coronado game while other players got some playing time. Preparing for Foothill was more important at that time than playing all the starters against the Cougars. Would love to see the Liberty vs Gorman game happen but I'm gonna fall in line with the team and worry about the Wildcats for now. Go Patriots!
jussayin where u at? Came by for a visit and u aren't on here prognosticatin? lol... Liberty 54 Las Vegas 7. Basic 38 Foothill 24. Gonna be a fwambastic time tomorrow night!jus sayin'... wait that's not my line. jus sprayin then...se keste!
It'll be closer than 54-7 but Liberty will still win by 30 or so
Good job Pates! I was real close with my scores and picks. NOT! Still got that patriot victory though. And more importantly, we covered for Keefer's bet! YEAH BABY! WOOOOOOOO!
