Our Metropolis

Our Metropolis is a weekly half-hour issues and affairs program that is hosted by the Greenspun Media Group's John Katsilometes. The show is produced by UNLV's Greenspun College of Urban Affairs journalism and media studies students. Check out the Our Metropolis column in the Las Vegas Weekly.

A Recession Road Trip: Tue, Sep 8, 2009 (6 p.m.); Atlantic Monthly writer Christina Davidson is cutting across all 48 contiguous states for a project titled, "Recession Road Trip." This month Davidson stopped in Las Vegas and zeroed in on "Jimmy," who has taken out a Craigslist ad peddling erotic massage for men to make ends meet.

Nevada Recovery Celebration: Tue, Sep 1, 2009 (6 p.m.); Nevada Recovery Celebration co-chairwoman and We Care rehabilitation center director Lynn Tynan outlines what will be offered and who will be onstage Saturday at Nevada Recovery Celebration day at Cashman Center.
