From the school
Shadow Ridge High School communicates with parents via six annual newsletters, quarterly student progress reports, Parent Advisory Council meetings, counselor newsletters, our computerized InTouch system and the Shadow Ridge Web site. This system enables parents to monitor their childs attendance, grades, homework assignments, transcripts and graduation requirements. Consequently, parents at Shadow Ridge High School have the unique ability to continuously review their childs academic progress and intervene when necessary. In addition, the eighth grade orientation night, open house, freshman barbeque and senior awards night activities allow for direct and meaningful two-way communication with parents and all members of the school community. It is interesting to note that well over 1,000 parents attended each of these activities. This is a testament to the tremendous support our parents provide to Shadow Ridge High School.
