Out-of-towners may know “Sam’s Town” as the name of The Killers sophomore album but Las Vegas residents know Sam’s Town as a favorite among local casinos.
Sam’s Town, located on the corner of Boulder Highway and Flamingo Avenue, six miles from the Strip, features rooms built around a unique indoor atrium, where a water-and-laser show dazzles spectators four times a day.
The hotel’s 646 rooms are built around the atrium called Mystic Falls Park. With a nine-story glass roof and a 25,000-square foot indoor park with live trees, waterfalls and footpaths, the atrium is one of Las Vegas’ many surprises.
The casino features five restaurants, which are favorites among locals. Willy and Jose's Cantina serves regional dishes, while the extensive menu of Billy Bob's Steak House & Saloon features quality steaks. Sam’s Town has dozens of other amenities including a bowling alley, 18-screen movie theater and the Sam’s Town Live! entertainment complex.
