From the school

"Rex Bell ES provided regular parent newsletters, monthly Parent Connection meetings, and frequent opportunities to visit for special events. Rex Bell ES teachers maintained communication with parents through weekly/bi-weekly progress reports, parent-teacher conferences, phone calls, and classroom visits. Parents were encouraged to serve as volunteers assisting with many of the schools special programs and events: Junior Engineering/Science Night, Field Day, Nevada Day Activities, Literacy Night, academic open houses, and field trips. Parents also served on decision-making committees, such as A+ Steering committee, Library/Media committee, Title 1 planning team, and School Improvement team. A parent also served on the Student Generated Funds committee to assist with the monitoring of spending items that were not available through budget appropriations."
