Start spreading the news, New York - New York is here. This 64,746-square foot casino and 2,000 room hotel is a slice of the Big Apple in Las Vegas. The outside is an authentic New York skyline, complete with the Brooklyn Bridge, Empire State Building and Statue of Liberty. Faux trees and a stream line the Central Park themed casino that holds 1,885 slot machines, 82 gaming tables and even has manhole covers on the ground.
The dining at New York - New York is just as diverse as the original. With Il Fornaio, guests will believe they have stepped into Little Italy, while Gallagher's Steakhouse is a hark back to the original Broadway favorite. Guests can also enjoy the Village Eateries, an area designed to look just like the streets of New York, offering such traditional New York fare like pizza, deli sandwiches and Coney Island favorite, Nathan's hot dogs.
Adults and kids alike will love the The Roller Coaster at New York - New York as it weaves through the New York skyline at 67 mph. Next to the roller coaster, kids will delight at The Coney Island Amusement Center, which offers a full arcade, bumper cars and even laser tag.
For the adults, Cirque de Soleil's Zumanity celebrates hedonism to its fullest. Step into Ireland at the Nine Fine Irishmen pub, with its warm interior and bar full of classic Irish brews, it promises to be an authentic Irish experience. Be prepared to stand around at Coyote Ugly, a southern-style saloon where the sexy female bartenders dance on the bar, and stools and chairs are not optional
