A bit of jolly olde England right here in Las Vegas, the 3,991-room medieval-themed Excalibur makes the Middle Ages popular again. Opened in 1990, this 99,769 square foot casino is filled with swords, shields and iron chandeliers, not to mention 1,870 slot machines and 95 table games.
Guests can dine like royalty at Sir Galahad's Prime Rib House, or dish out a serving of irreverent wit to the staff at Dick's Last Resort and receive a heaping side of sarcasm in return.
"The Tournament of Kings" offers finger-licking entertainment as diners enjoy an authentic arena-style show complete with wizards, jousting and King Arthur himself. The knights heat up in the dance revue "The Thunder from Down Under," or for something a bit different the Octane Lounge is a 100-seat biker-themed bar. For more family-oriented entertainment, the Fantasy Faire offers a variety of fun midway games, and comedian Louie Anderson turns up the humor in his show.
