From the school
Parental communication is facilitated through monthly school newsletters highlighting upcoming events, as well as music, art, library and physical education. In addition, the school counselor and nurse include pertinent articles for the entire community. Also, each grade level is responsible for sending monthly newsletters detailing curriculum focus, hints for aid in curricular areas, as well as upcoming grade level events. In kindergarten through third grade, students transport a communication folder to and from school to apprise parents of behavior and any class assignments. In grades four and five, students maintain a daily agenda book that assists with organization and reminders of assignments. Furthermore, we proudly have a school Web site containing links for our adopted math and reading textbooks, as well as a link for our science curriculum.
