"The school Web site provides parents and the community with academic and general school information, as well as a link for comments and information requests. Our school newsletter also provides families with pertinent school and district information, information on school events and issues, ways parents can assist at home, and a response form. In addition to this school newsletter, classroom newsletters and student agendas are sent home periodically to update families on homework assignments, upcoming events and class information.

"Progress reports are also sent home every three weeks and report cards are sent home each trimester to inform parents about student progress.

"Families are invited to attend honor awards assemblies each trimester to recognize student excellence. Other resources include parent teacher association sponsored, family-oriented activities, events, curricular resources, and tutoring programs, while the school holds monthly English and Spanish parent academies related to testing strategies, study skills, academic trainings and the home environment."
