From the school
The staff at Katz Elementary School provides meaningful communication with parents, family and the community through open house celebrations, family academic nights, student progress reports, and parent/teacher conferences. In addition, parents are informed of the ongoing events and celebrations at Katz through classroom newsletters, school newsletters, surveys and the school Web site. Parents and the community also participate in decision-making by serving on the PTA, the school site-based council and through volunteer opportunities.
