From the school
Meetings were held with parents on an on-going basis to provide information about school curriculum, classroom instruction and student achievement. Some examples include parenting classes, family nights, workshops, conferences and concerts. Newsletters were sent to parents five times during the school year and contained information about student achievement, school news and activities. Parent volunteers read, listened and tested students in support of our academic programs. Parent members in advisory groups, committees or other organized parent groups assisted our school by actively participating in decision-making matters regarding the Learning Improvement Team, School Safety and School Generated Funds.
