From the school
Meaningful, ongoing, two-way communication with parents is accomplished through school newsletters, student progress reports, and phone calls. A school Web site with links to other sites that might assist parents is available. Parent Student Teacher Academic Planning Time is provided to share assessment data and provide parents with ideas of how to assist their children at home.
Through the assistance of our PTA, which meets monthly, information is shared with parents and the community about school events and opportunities for parent involvement such as family activities, fundraising events, and ways in which those funds have supported the school's improvement goals. We continue to strive to establish positive community relationships and this has helped us create a friendly and pleasant learning environment for all stakeholders.
