From the school
The staff provides two-way and meaningful communication to our parents as a method of keeping communication lines open at all times. Weekly newsletters are sent home with information on upcoming events and school procedures. A parent feedback form is included monthly to encourage parents to provide suggestions, comments, and concerns. Monthly PTA meetings are held to help parents become involved in the events and planning at David M. Cox ES. Several school functions such as grade-level performances, open houses, and literacy nights are held as an effective method of involving parents in their students' education.
