From the school
Parent participation at open house and parent teacher conferences was successful with an overall 98% participation. Goldfarb Parent-Teacher Association met monthly to provide a forum for parents and community to express school improvement efforts. Babysitting services were provided for all parent activities outside of the school day. Family Literacy and Math nights, as well as the all-school science fair, were enjoyed by all. The annual holiday student performances in December were other events celebrated by the community. Parents were also involved in the Parents as Academic Leaders and were invited to attend after-school English as a Second Language classes. We had a traditional end of the year volunteer breakfast honoring our parents and community members.
