From the school
Community College High School's fall open house provides prospective students with the opportunity to speak with administration and staff and sit in on classes. Meanwhile, parents of enrolled students may call high school instructors directly or set up face-to-face conferences.
The school's parent advisory council holds quarterly meetings upon request, with agendas designed so parents can ask questions, offer suggestions and help with planning efforts.
While e-mail is frequently used to communicate with parents, bi-monthly newsletters are both posted on our Web site and mailed home, as well. Furthering communication efforts, teachers, staff and the administration call parents when student attendance concerns arise and to express praise for deserving students, as well.
