From the school
"The administration has an open door policy with respect to parent concerns or questions. In addition, newsletters and calendars highlighting activities for parents were sent home monthly. Conferences are held four times a year to discuss student academic achievement. Family nights for literacy, mathematics, and science were held throughout the year. The PTA and the school jointly sponsored a fun and educational multicultural fair in May. Parents were offered classes in parenting skills, English acquisition and school involvement. Quarterly achievement assemblies were held to recognize students for achievements, improvements, and good citizenship. An open house was held at the beginning of the year to set the tone for the year and communicate student expectations."
