From the school
Johnston Middle School provides for regular two-way communication with parents through many avenues. The InTouch online grading and attendance system is available for all parents. This system allows parents access to up-to-date grades and attendance. This system has also been used several times throughout the year to send important messages and reminders to parents via the telephone. Johnston Middle School maintains an extensive website, which includes a calendar of events. Newsletters are mailed home bi-monthly with pertinent, timely information. Regular Parent Advisory Committee meetings are conducted to provide parents with a forum to share their ideas and express concerns. Parents can also communicate with teachers and administration through e-mail, voice mail and parent conferences
