Betsy Rhodes Elementary is proud to offer a variety of ways to communicate with parents, family and the community. Classroom teachers send home trimester report cards and periodic progress reports so that parents are kept abreast of what transpired in the classroom. A school-wide newsletter is sent home every four weeks to keep parents informed of school events, recognize honor roll students and congratulate students that earned individual awards. The school marquee keeps the entire community apprised of important functions and events scheduled to be held at school. Open house and other family night events give parents an opportunity to tour the school and interact with teachers. In addition, an automated out-dial phone system is used to announce upcoming events and advise parents of student absences. Each classroom is equipped with a phone so that parents and teachers can communicate more easily.
