From the school
Chameleon Chronicles newsletter is sent home bi-monthly in English and Spanish and contains news from the administration, classrooms, special programs, and educational articles. It highlights monthly activities and gives parents a calendar of events to encourage their attendance at events related to academics, parent education, and celebrations of their children. Approximately 90% of families attended Open House and 93% attended winter Structured Teacher-Parent-Student Academic Planning Time. Our school has approximately 50 parent volunteers that provide tutoring assistance to teachers in the classroom, assist with chaperoning on field trips, maintaining expectations at student dismissal, serve as Title I liaisons, volunteer on school planning committees, and assist with the Jog and Walk Society.
