From the school
Arbor View High School continues to provide ongoing communication with parents and students. Arbor View utilizes Edline which creates parent/student accounts to obtain weekly progress reports and calendar updates, which lists event information for parents. Moreover, through Edline, e-mail communication is established between teachers and parents. In addition to teacher conferences, counselors meet with parents and students to give social and academic guidance on credits, progress, academic planning and career paths. The Parent Advisory Committee meets monthly to inform parents of events, policies and procedures, as well as answer questions or concerns. Parents are involved in site-based management and the Northwest accreditation process. An annual parent survey is conducted in the spring. The Arbor View Web site is updated daily with current information and calendars.
