: Palo Verde at Cheyenne; October 2, 2009, 11:50 PM; Palo Verde remained undefeated on the season with a victory against Northwest Division rival Cheyenne. As expected, the game featured several hard hits and aggressive play.
: Boulder City Homecoming victory; October 2, 2009, 11 PM; The Boulder City High football team topped Faith Lutheran 15-10 on Oct. 2 during their homecoming game. Ryan Washburn's third quarter touchdown run proved to be the game winner.
: Legacy vs.Cimarron; October 2, 2009, 1:35 AM; Legacy High remained undefeated on the season with a dramatic Northwest Division victory against host Cimarron-Memorial in overtime. The Longhorns scored on a 2-point conversion to win, only after the game was extended one play when Cimarron was flagged for running into Legacy's kicker on the previous conversion attempt.

: Del Sol VS Las Vegas; September 18, 2009, 1:21 AM; The Del Sol High football team hung on for a 33-28 victory against perennial Sunrise Region power Las Vegas High. Las Vegas has defeated Del Sol in the last three regional finals, including in 2008 when the Wildcats scored 21 points in the game's final five minutes to erase a 14-point deficit.
