Suspicious Bag Shuts Down I-15

Nevada Highway Patrol shut down the southbound lanes of Interstate 15 in Las Vegas between Sahara and Tropicana avenues for several hours because of a suspicious bag discovered on the side of the road Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014. Trooper Chelsea Webster said the bag, which was located on the freeway’s right shoulder, was a backpack full of toiletries.
