SlotZilla Opens Downtown

“Flyers” try out the 850-feet-long SlotZilla Zipline at the Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas, Wednesday, April 30, 2014. A higher and longer 1700-feet-long Zoomline, which will propel flyers in a horizontal “superman” position at speeds up to 35 mph, is expected to open in June. The zip-line, the first part of the $12 million SlotZilla project, opened Sunday. SlotZilla is open Sundays through Thursdays from noon to midnight, and Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 2 a.m. Flights are $20 for the zip-line.
