Metro Officer Honored

Metro Police Officer Booke Lavin is named the 2012 Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Officer of the Year during a CIT International awards luncheon at the South Point Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012. Lavin was honored with the award after calming a suicidal man and then following up to make sure the man received a variety of social services.
