Photos from a raid of a marijuana grow operation in the Carpenter Canyon area of the Spring Mountains. Authorities from the U.S. Forest Service, Metro Police, North Las Vegas Police, Nye County Sheriff, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Nevada Department of Wildlife participated in the raid that netted nearly 1,075 marijuana plants. This is the second raid of a marijuana grow operation in the area in less than a month.

It is a shame that the people voted to let patients in need of this medicine hae it but give them only the option to grow their own. if you get surgery and are prescribed Morphine, far mor dangerous then Marijuanna , you don't have to grow your own poppy seeds. Nevada should put a larhe tax on it and we could spend it on education. The police can't get it all and if you are prescribed it or over 21 it is a personal choice if you ar not hurting anyone. Grow up people and stop the lunacy.
Maybe these marijuanna killers should be making sure illegals arn't committing crimes against Nevadans instead of hiking in the mountains and pulling weeds.

Not whining, Laughing !! At fools who think that this gross waste of their Tax dollars is going to make a dent in the use and availability of Cannabis. IF it accomplishes anything it will temporarily raise the Value of Cannabis making it MORE Likely that someone else will start another grow next week, but Morons like the Know Nothing Prohibitionists like to thump their chest and bray.
