This report should have been called "the dark side of Capitalism"!!
Rodger & Lela, I hope that you are doing well since we met. I did make an account... was still reluctant, but since they are linking accounts through Facebook, I figured, "Why not?"
Upon meeting you both I realized that you two are some of the most caring people in the world that I have ever met. (And the photos of you in this and the 1st Article do neither of you any justice!) Rodger, for being so ill you are a very hansom man! And Lela your beautiful! I would never have guessed either of you in your 50's!
I hope for all good things to come to you both, and I was very pleased to see that your (Lela's) daughter "Becca" made a comment on the forums. I feel her pain as if you were my parents, I have no way of assisting them, no matter how much I would want to.
Please know, that the 300+ comments posted in the forum on your original article is a very minuscule amount of people in the Valley that are commenting. (As you know, I read it, but had my Ma make the comments for me as I was quite reluctant to make an account, until now.)
Please keep in touch, feel free to contact me anytime, I will hold you both in my heart for the rest of my life.

I was mad after reading part one of this story and am now more mad after reading part two. These two people are too dramatic for their situation. First, living in Budget Suites is not homeless so quit acting like it is. These people keep making one bad decision after another. I find my self cussing at them through my computer. The only thing I even remotely feel bad for him for is his psoriatic arthritis and he is making it worse with his living habits. They are not as helpless as they claim to be.
After reading the idiotic posting from the self proclaimed daughter- I see the apple does not fall far from the tree.
I don't wish bad for these people. I wish they would make better decisions. It isn't that hard to keep the money you are receiving from being bled into the local convenience store. This person seems to have access to the internet so maybe they can Google financial advise and how to live within a budget.
Why can't the SUN actually find a real unfortunate struggling family to write about. Do they exist? Right now they make it seem like every homeless person is homeless for making poor decisions and I do not believe that is the case.

I find it amazing that some people are not making their accounts "Trusted" for the comment section! Tells you the kind of person(s) you truly are. To hide behind a name. It's a shame that YOUR ignorance is definitely bliss...
As for me, I am not afraid, I am not worried. I am an AMERICAN! Rodger, I really hope you enjoyed that beer, and many more if you so chose... people are acting as if you were snorting some "illegal" substance! Well, even if you were, more power to ya!
Lela, I know that you are an angel sent to assist Rodger, and vise versa. You two are wonderful people, and I am proud to know you, the REAL you.
