   Photo 4 makes me laugh. Did somebody really consider that art? It does nothing for me, other than make me wonder if there's a major leak in the sewer system.
   Hey, that's just my opinion, I'm sure someone out there thinks that THAT is just beautiful!!

   These building look like any high priced condos anywhere.

   This is Vegas and it should be reflected in the architecture.

   These buildings distract and do not add to Las Vegas culture.

   I agree with Bob635, city centre really tones down the strip at night. Surely they should vegas it up a bit, one side of the strip is a sea of neon, then theres this big dark block opposite, I keep hoping theyre leaving the lights until last.

   Veer Towers is one of my favorite buildings on the strip. It's dynamic, playful, sleek and modern.
   I love the huge art installation in each of the lobbies and it is meant to be appreciated viewed as a whole. I know it is not pretty to some up close, but the artist elevates the process of dripping and finger painting on a blank wall to create a intricate yet simple and striking graphic.

   The entire CityCenter development is a refreshing addition to the strip, and I would visit Las Vegas just for that alone. It's about time something modern, sophisticated and truely beautiful is built on the strip. Unfortunately with our dismal economy it will be a long, long time before something else could match this achievement.

   Just because it is in Las Vegas, it doesn't mean it has to be gaudy and fake.

   I don't think the strip is gaudy or fake I think its beautiful. City Centre is nice by day but quite dull at night.
