Sat, Jan 10, 2009 (7:22 a.m.)

A bountiful array of parties followed the second day of CES on the eve of Jan 9.

From the “It Won’t Stay in Vegas” blogger party to the Diana Ross concert that followed Monster Cable’s Retailer Awards, there was no shortage of places to go or hands to shake.

Other parties thrown on Friday included Skype’s CES party at Privé, a reception for Canadian CES-goers at Caesars, the Leaders in Technology cocktail reception and dinner at the Venetian, RIM’s CES party featuring John Mayer, Intel and PC.com’s CES party featuring the Counting Crows and hostess Brooke Burke, and Unity’s CES soirée at the Foundation Room.
