The Mayor took the presidents words as meaning something else.I understood it as millions of others understood it to mean that taxpayers money was not to be used for junkets and the like. It was very clear.
What is that? Cut and Paste on Goodman's press conference photo? Very funny.
But seriously, Obama shouldn't make any snide remarks about any American city, Goodman is right to defend his city. I love Vegas. I wouldn't mind living there. But what it's now going to be politically incorrect to visit Vegas? Whatever, it's called tourism. Vegas is a tourist destination and a conference center hub. Obama is just using the divide and conquer method of politics. We'll be too busy fighting each other to notice what's going on in Washington. I'd be more worried about business leaders or politicians visiting corrupt Chicagoland or New Orleans than anywhere else.
