UNLV's athletic department on Saturday afternoon held its first ever equipment and apparel clearance sale for the public, out of need for space for incoming gear. More people than expected showing up, even leading UNLV officials to open the gates to Rebel Park at 9 a.m. instead of the advertised time of 11 a.m.
