Tue, Nov 11, 2008 (12:30 a.m.)

Ivan Demidov of Russia, and Peter Eastgate, of Denmark were the last two men standing from the 6,844 players who started the annual World Series of Poker tournament that began at the Rio in Las Vegas in July. In the end, it was Eastgate, a 22-year-old, who took home the more than $9 million top prize and wrote his name in the history books as the main event’s youngest champion.
