Kathy listens to a student's response in her second-grade class. She is struggling to balance work and her personal life where she is exhausted and trying to cope with the traumatic stress of the change in her and Tom's life. "I love the kids in my class. I've got great kids. There is no way to balance it because there's never an off moment. Because if there's an off moment then the kids aren't learning or somebody's getting hurt."
