Dean Martin makes his debut in the Sands Copa Room on March 6, 1957. A year removed from his separation with comedian Jerry Lewis, many doubted Dino's ability to have a successful solo career. Despite the skepticism actresses Lucille Ball and Debbie Reynolds, comedian Jack Benny and Jack Entratter attended the act and can be seen in the audience.
