Only the "unusual" makes The News, otherwise it would be ordinary and no one would read it. I have no idea why divorce rates are exceptionally high these past couple of decades, perhaps improvements in cable television, the introduction of online shopping, or just something new in the water, but when you look back over the big picture, it has always been the "IN" thing to do.
The number 1 reason people get divorced is "money problems."
This is just another example of how US society is falling apart because of rich greedy corporate executive screwing the average person with low pay, no benefits, no vacation, no pensions, no job security, no career paths, and so on.
The average REAL wages is no less than 50% of what people made in the 50s and 60s when tax rates on the rich were 70% and unions were strong AND DIVORCE RATES WERE VERY LOW!
Remember "Divorce is Profitable" "Sick people are profitable" "war is profitable" It doesn't take a genius to figure out the american dream no longer exists.
