Exactly what do Dumbocrats know about morals, ethics or honesty? Their mantra: "If it feels good do it." They revel in promiscuity, deviancy, drugs and killing the unborn. They deride religion, shame, self-reliance and earning your own way in life. Not exactly the kind of people I want to emulate.
Lvfacts, sounds like a typical RepubliCON, do as we say not as we do.
Wow, Jerry; don't think you missed a right wing wacko talking point in that one small paragraph. Nice job.
(That last line was sarcastic. I figured you needed the clarification.)
Actually Mike, the soapbox did nothing wrong and it is still standing.
The soapbox just awaits the next "I am holier than thou" republican who will preach about:
* family values - while breaking them
* smaller government - while enlarging it; and
* no new taxes for the filthy rich - but more taxes on the poor, working families and the middle class.
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't John Edwards do the same thing during one of his presidential campaigns?
So, why is this such a big deal.
A republican is just going to win the seat anyway.
racer56, you're wrong and here's the correction. John Edwards did NOT "do the same thing". Yes, he had an affair. Yes, he was/is sleazy. But he didn't have his parents pay off anyone, nor did he give his mistress or her husband a job on the taxpayers' dime. In addition, I'm pretty sure he didn't live in the holier-than-thou house where Ensign & his holier-than-thou brethren did, preaching holier-than-thou "family values", at the same time he was bonking his best friend's wife.
I see cognitive dissonance is alive and well on the right.
PatriciaLV, thank you for the correction. But you also need a correction I am not on the right. I really don't know what I am anymore with all these crybaby's that get elected. So, please do not refer to me with the right or the left just look at the facts and information.
You probably thaught I am a republican because I said a republican would get the seat. That is just my opinion not based on politics.
racer56: My apologies for incorrectly thinking you are an "R" and my apologies for not getting back to you sooner as I've been out of town for the past three weeks.
PatriciaLV: No problem. A lot of people when we talk about politics automaticly think that I am a republican because I talk as if I'm a republican instead of non-partisan.
